Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor responsible for all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside a building or multiple client sites. The role requires flexibility to perform duties per client specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of janitorial experience
• On-the-job training will be provided
• Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces via sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and surfaces
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas
• Empty trash cans and assist with waste disposal; operate a compactor for certain materials
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners
• Spot clean carpets and assist with carpet extractions and shampooing
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies
• Follow housekeeping schedule
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers
• Other duties as assigned per scope of work or customer needs
