Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a reliable Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and basic maintenance inside client sites. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions with flexibility for different shifts and locations.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or at least 6 months of janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage.
• Clean restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors and entrances.
• Empty trash and use a compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot-clean carpets and assist with carpet extractions/shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned per client needs.
