Merit Medical Systems, Inc. is seeking a Janitor Lead to oversee cleaning staff and ensure a clean, safe work environment at our Utah facility in South Jordan. You will plan tasks, train team members, and uphold cleaning standards while supporting meetings and events.

The role emphasizes supervising daily janitorial operations, adhering to safety guidelines, and coordinating with supervisors. A high school diploma and some related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Education equivalent to a high school degree and six months of related work experience.
• Ability to follow simple written and oral instructions, read directions.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assign work as designated and reviewed by supervisor.
• Train janitors regarding responsibilities and work standards.
• Respond to and fulfill customer requests; maintain clean facilities and environment.
• Order cleaning supplies with supervisor; operate cleaning equipment safely.
• Complete checklists for clean rooms and assist with meetings or events.
