Job summary

ABM is seeking a reliable Lead to oversee facility operations, delegate daily tasks, and guide the team. The role involves supervising at an assigned location when the Manager isn’t present, ensuring buildings are clean and safe for workers and customers.

This position emphasizes leadership, adherence to policies, and coordination of cleaning operations with support for general janitorial duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age required.
• High school diploma, GED or college degree not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules and route cards; report barriers.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Maintain open communication between field employees and management; monitor client communications.
• Assist with daily and weekly work schedules.
• Oversee cleaning operations in assigned building.
• Manage keys and access cards for the property.
• Report damaged or non-functional items.
• Oversee and perform additional service requests as needed.
• Ensure quality of work and obtain completion sign-off from Area Manager.
• Provide training for new hires per onboarding procedures.
• Complete and verify time records for regular or subcontractor staff.
• Check supplies, equipment and chemicals weekly.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
