Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking an Account Supervisor to oversee janitorial operations at assigned customer locations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction. You will supervise frontline team members, manage staffing and scheduling, and conduct quality inspections.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years in janitorial or facility services, with supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years janitorial or facility services experience.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and floor care equipment.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct janitorial team members on assigned shifts.
• Ensure cleaning services meet company standards and customer expectations.
• Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Schedule staff and maintain adequate staffing levels.
• Train, coach, and develop employees on cleaning procedures and safety.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and retention efforts.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and submit replenishment requests.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety procedures.
• Investigate incidents and resolve customer concerns.
• Complete timekeeping, performance documentation, and reports.
• Build relationships with customers and respond to service requests.
• Support special projects and floor care as needed.
