Job summary

Windham Mountain Club is seeking a friendly Facilities Cleaning team member for the winter season in Windham, NY. This in-person role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of the ski lodge and surrounding areas.

You will clean restrooms, hallways, dining areas, offices, locker rooms and support guest areas, restocking supplies, assisting with events, and following safety procedures in a fast-paced indoor environment.

Qualifications

• Cleaning, maintenance, or janitorial experience preferred.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adaptable and willing to learn new skills.
• Comfortable interacting with guests and coworkers.
• Able to work efficiently in busy, fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, locker rooms, fitness facilities, and other assigned spaces.
• Assist with guest area setups, breakdowns, and special events.
• Restock supplies and maintain storage areas.
• Remove trash and transport waste to designated dumpsters.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
• Provide friendly guest assistance and address minor issues as needed.
• Follow safety procedures, timekeeping policies, and department standards.
• Maintain equipment and a professional appearance.

$18-21 per hour based on experience

Position Summary

• Lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and walk for up to 10 hours.
