Responsibilities

• Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas including dusting, sanitizing, cleaning and restocking.
• Handles cleaning chemicals and disinfectants; may clean outdoor areas and use ladders as needed.
• Removes waste, handles sharps and hazardous waste following safety procedures.
• Maintains, cleans, and reports issues with equipment to maintenance staff.
• Maintains safe work environment and adheres to infection control guidelines and department standards.
• Attends in-service training and safety updates to maintain knowledge.
• Meets time schedules and deadlines consistently.
