Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean is seeking a reliable janitorial associate to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks across facilities. You will sweep, mop, vacuum, dispose of waste, sanitize restrooms, and restock supplies while following safety policies and maintaining professionalism.

The role requires basic cleaning equipment knowledge, English communication, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Punctuality and customer service are essential in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in the janitorial or cleaning service industry.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Working knowledge of basic cleaning equipment.
• Physical ability to lift and handle equipment up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to manage time efficiently.
• Handle basic maintenance, building repairs, cleaning and other janitorial work.
• Maintain a professional image at all times.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors.
• Vacuum carpeting [if applicable].
• Gather and dispose of trash from restrooms, offices and other work areas.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, basins and urinals.
• Clean mirrors, counters and sink.
• Spot Clean walls and doors.
• Restock toiletries in restroom dispensers.
• Dust equipment and fixtures.
• Keep cleaning supplies in stock.
• Must follow and adhere company’s and safety policies in the work place.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Maintain a professional image by wearing uniform.
• Provide clients with exceptional customer service.
• Must arrive on time at job site.
