Job summary

ServiceMaster Janitorial Solutions is seeking a janitorial/ Custodial team member to create cleaner, healthier environments for customers and students. The role includes cleaning facilities, mopping, trash removal, restroom cleaning, and maintaining supplies, with on-the-job training provided.

The position emphasizes flexibility, reliability, punctuality, and a collaborative, respectful work environment as part of a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Constant standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses.
• 1-2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper a plus but not required.
• On-the-job training provided to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures.
• Sweep, mop, polish, remove trash, clean restrooms, clean windows, dust.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Use proper PPE where required.
• Open and lock facilities, enable and disable security system as required.
