Job summary

A&A Maintenance Enterprise, Inc. seeks a dedicated cleaning and maintenance associate to deliver day-to-day services at client facilities across New Jersey. You will maintain floors, restrooms, and common areas, ensuring safety and cleanliness to meet client expectations.

Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, using approved chemical cleaners, disposing of waste, and reporting safety concerns; candidates should be dependable and able to work with a team in varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning and maintenance operations.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and chemical handling instructions.
• Good communication and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
