Job summary

RJW Transport, Inc. is seeking a dependable custodian to maintain cleanliness and order for the office facilities in Perris, CA. Tasks include cleaning floors, restrooms, windows, and furniture, as well as handling cleaning solutions and basic maintenance.

The role requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, operate cleaning equipment, and perform snow removal when needed. A high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of custodial experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate, read, write, and speak English.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 6 months experience in cleaning or related custodial work.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Prepare cleaning solutions per specifications.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Operate vehicles needed for cleaning work.
• Follow chemical safety procedures to protect floors and fixtures.
• Move heavy furniture and equipment as needed.
• Notify management of major repairs or system needs.
• Remove snow from sidewalks and driveways.
• Requisition supplies and equipment for cleaning tasks.
• Spray insecticides and fumigants as required.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
