Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of interior areas across client sites in Texas. The role requires flexibility to adapt to each client's specifications and may involve full-time or part-time hours.

Responsibilities include floor maintenance, restroom upkeep, trash disposal, window cleaning, carpet care, and following a set cleaning schedule. On-the-job training is provided; high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent or six months janitorial experience
• On-the-job training will be provided
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors and entrances
• Empty trash cans and use a compactor for certain materials
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet care
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies
• Follow housekeeping schedules
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and buffers
• Other duties as assigned by scope of work or customer needs
