Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a reliable Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas within client sites. The role requires flexibility to perform duties per client specifications and to maintain high cleanliness standards.

The position involves basic floor care, restroom upkeep, trash disposal, window cleaning, and occasional use of heavy cleaning equipment. Training will be provided and equal opportunity employment is emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or six months of janitorial experience will be provided on the job.
• Attention to detail is essential for cleaning tasks and safety.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and surfaces.
• Clean restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entry areas.
• Empty trash and manage disposal as required.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Assist with carpet care, including extraction and shampooing as needed.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule and use heavy equipment when required.
