Job summary

Van Drunen Family of Companies is seeking a custodial/janitorial teammate to support daily cleaning across our facility. You will perform sanitation tasks, operate cleaning equipment, and follow established schedules to maintain a safe, organized workspace.

This role requires at least one year in custodial work, a high school diploma or equivalent, and reliable transportation to move between local facilities. A positive, team-focused attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year of custodial, janitorial, or related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work with cleaning chemicals responsibly.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to complete tasks independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between local facilities as needed.
• Basic English communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks across the facility to maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized environment.
• Operate equipment such as cardboard balers and riding floor scrubbers to support daily cleaning routines.
• Follow established cleaning schedules, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and surface sanitation.
• Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance or repair needs to supervisors in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleaning supplies, organize equipment, and ensure proper use of cleaning materials and safety signage.
• Empty trash, replenish restroom supplies, and maintain accurate cleaning logs and documentation.
