Job summary

Skyservice Business Aviation Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented custodian to maintain clean, organized offices and common areas. You will clean floors, restrooms, and shared spaces, dispose of trash, and help prepare facilities for events.

You will follow safety procedures for cleaners and equipment, monitor security, and assist with light maintenance tasks as needed to keep the premises professional and inviting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Must be able to walk, climb stairs
• Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch
• Must use hands to reach, grasp, handle, pull and push
• Must be able to lift & carry up to 50 pounds
• Majority of duties performed indoors. Noise level moderate.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Monitor building security and safety by locking doors after hours and checking electrical appliance use for hazards.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies using manual methods or hand trucks.
• Request supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding for events.
• Spray insecticides and fumigants to prevent infestations.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with cleaners and squeegees.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Perform other duties as required.
