Job summary

Skyservice Business Aviation is seeking a dedicated cleaning professional to maintain offices and common areas in a clean, neat, and professional state. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, emptying trash, servicing restrooms, and supporting event setups.

You will follow safety procedures for cleaners and equipment, monitor security, move supplies as needed, and perform other related duties as assigned. This role is based in New York, NY with standard daytime hours.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
• Must be able to walk, climb stairs and bend, stoop, crouch
• Must use hands to reach, grasp, handle, pull and push
• Must lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Majority duties indoors with moderate noise

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Monitor building security and safety, lock doors after hours, check appliance use.
• Move heavy furniture and equipment manually or with hand trucks.
• Request supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance.
• Set up and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders for events.
• Spray insecticides and fumigants to prevent infestations.
• Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, windows, and mirrors.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Perform other duties as required.
