Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor in Raleigh, NC. This full-time role offers multiple shifts, Monday–Friday, and a pay rate of $16 per hour with weekly pay.

You will perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside client sites to meet standards and safety requirements. Key responsibilities include floor care, restroom upkeep, window cleaning, trash disposal, and following chemical and equipment procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six (6) months of janitorial experience.
• On‑the‑job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances.
• Empty trash and manage disposal.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet care.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedules.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned by client needs.
