ESFM, the division of Compass Group USA, is hiring for a full-time janitor position at 100 Commerce Drive, Somerset, NJ 08873. The schedule is Wednesday to Sunday with off Monday and Tuesday; hours may vary. No experience is necessary and training will be provided.

Pay range is $17.00 per hour to $17.25 per hour. This role supports maintaining a clean, safe environment in a health-care or facility setting, with benefits typical of ESFM associates.

Qualifications

• No experience is necessary; willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings clean and orderly.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, removing rubbish.
• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for cleaning and places them back correctly.
• Cleans assigned areas with specified materials and equipment; sanitizes surfaces per eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and takes initiative to complete tasks.
• Completes tasks as assigned by supervisor and adheres to all guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team and maintains professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
