Job summary

ECU Health Medical Center is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install and maintain wall systems, doors, windows, ceilings, floors, and cabinets. The 1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm) may include weekend/on-call coverage. ECU Health Medical Center is a major teaching hospital serving a 29-county region in North Carolina.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Uses tools to install and maintain wall, door, ceiling, roof, and cabinet systems.
• Reads blueprints, specifications, and manuals to implement requirements.
• Performs basic carpentry to ensure walls, doors, windows, and ceilings are plumb, square, level, and secure.
• Maintains and repairs wall systems, structures, and related appurtenances.
• Assists with safety rails and other protective devices and may support other departments during moves or relocations.
