Job summary

Envirotech and Trademasters is seeking a Maintenance Carpenter in Elizabeth City, NC. The role involves repairing and maintaining various buildings used for aircraft repair and equipment, with emphasis on wood framing, drywall, trim, and cabinetry.

The position operates Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime as needed. Requires 3+ years of carpentry experience, valid Class C driver's license, and ability to obtain federal badges/clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of related carpentry experience.
• Operate basic hand tools.
• Framing, drywall, and doors/hardware installation/finishing.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid Class C driver's license.
• Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Obtain and maintain federal badging and clearance for secure federal site.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior modifications/repairs.
• Plan and layout work from blueprints for wooden aircraft support equipment.
• Repair building framework, rafters, paneling, trusses and beams.
• Framing/layout of walls, rafters and ceilings; install doors and hardware.
• Support special events with setup and teardown activities.
