River Valley Regional YMCA is seeking a part-time cleaner for shifts on Monday/Wednesday/Friday 10a-12p and Tuesday/Thursday 10a-1pm in Williamsport. The role involves cleaning assigned areas, mopping, dusting, trash removal, window washing, and basic facilities maintenance to keep the YMCA attractive and welcoming.

Typical duties include operating cleaning equipment, reporting repairs, restocking supplies, and possibly setting up furniture for events.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Ability to report and record maintenance requests.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
• Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.

Responsabilités

• Ensures Y is attractive and clean by completing daily duties and maintaining equipment.
• Operates related motorized and non-motorized equipment.
• Records and reports needed repairs; performs repairs as directed.
• Ensures building and property is secure during shift and reports incidents to supervisor.
• Replaces soap, paper towels, and other supplies.
• May set up furniture for events.
