Job summary

LUMA Energy ServCo is seeking a Building Operator Assistant to support the facilities team with inspections, maintenance, and coordinating HVAC, electrical, and plumbing system repairs. The role also covers upkeep of parking areas, grounds, and common areas while ensuring compliance with municipal regulations and safety policies.

Candidate should have a high school diploma and 1–3 years in progressive installations; preferred certification as a scissor lift operator and a valid Puerto Rico

• The candidate has basic inspections and maintenance responsibilities.
• Familiarity with safety policies and building codes is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the day-to-day execution of operations and maintenance schedules to ensure uninterrupted tenant operations and asset integrity is maintained.
• Supports inspections, audits, maintenance, and repairs to air movement and heating systems.
• Provides support for plumbing fixtures, pipes, motors, and pumps as needed.
• Assists with coordinating renovations, repairs, cleaning, and other services with contractors.
• Cleans and maintains building areas and monitors safety and security tasks.
