Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of maintenance supplies, equipment, materials and methods.
• Ability to make minor repairs to buildings and equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of safety precautions for operating equipment.
• Current and valid driver’s license with no violations in 5 years.
• Ability to work in a group and independently.
• Previous working experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties when needed (cleaning debris and dust).
• Act as a backup driver when needed.
• Ensure buildings have adequate lighting, heating and ventilation.
• Perform minor repairs and inspections of equipment (painting, patching walls, hanging shelves).
• Operate machinery and equipment.
• Move and arrange desks, files, and other office equipment during construction.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
