Job summary

Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, LLC—Coke Florida—is seeking a Facilities Building Engineer to maintain and repair building systems at our Tampa area facility. The role requires strong hands-on technical skills, 5+ years in building operations, and CFC certification.

Work normally Monday–Friday with some nights, weekends and after-hours calls as needed. The engineer will oversee preventive maintenance, respond to tenant needs, document logs, coordinate outside contractors, and ensure safety and

Minimum of 5 years previous building operations engineering experience.
Must be CFC certified in high pressure discipline.
Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions.
Proficient computer and e-mail skills.
Holds any necessary/required licenses.

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair building operating systems on site.
Be familiar with all mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, life safety, fire protection and security systems.
Conduct periodic preventative maintenance and testing of systems including air handling, water pumping, and plumbing components.
Coordinate with contractors, tenants and management for work orders requiring outside help.
Prepare and maintain maintenance logs and records.
Respond to tenant requests for safety, environmental, or mechanical needs.
Be available for after-hours emergency calls.
Assist in snow and ice clearing operations as needed.
Keep organized building files and comply with operating procedures.
