Job summary

City of Wentzville is hiring a Facility Attendant for Parks to support cleaning, care, and maintenance across City facilities. You will help with meeting and banquet setups, inventory control, and basic repairs to ensure facilities are welcoming and functional.

Expected schedule is Monday–Friday 2:30–11 p.m., with every other weekend and some holidays. The City offers strong benefits and opportunities to grow within a growing community.

Qualifications

• Prior experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred, or ability to obtain within 180 days of employment required.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid drivers license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, care, and maintenance of City facilities.
• Assist with meeting and banquet plans, setups, and inventory management.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and light repairs (plumbing, carpentry, painting).

The Facility Attendant's typical duties include performing a wide variety of tasks in the cleaning, care, and maintenance of City facilities. This position will assist with meeting and banquet plans, setups, and inventory management, performing preventative maintenance in and around facilities and light maintenance or repair tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, and painting. The Facility Attendant may be required to work odd and unusual hours, including weekends, holidays, or evening and/or night shifts.

Monday - Friday 2:30 - 11 p.m., Every other weekend and some holidays.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications Education, experience, and training that are required or desirable in order to effectively perform the job at the time of hire. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. Additional requirements and/or substitutions may be requested and require the approval of HR.

• Knowledge of basic arithmetic necessary to calculate portions of cleaning materials.

Salary/Compensation: $19.02 - $19.97 per hour
