Job summary

Trail Dust Town in Tucson, AZ is seeking a full-time maintenance staff member to keep our property and amusement rides running safely. The role focuses on mechanical repairs, routine upkeep, and improving facilities.

About Us

Trail Dust Town is Tucson's favorite destination for family fun! The property is beloved by Tucsonans and visitors to the city because of the well kept property, fun amusement rides, and great restaurants. We need help keeping the property in good shape and the amusement rides running safely and smoothly. We are looking to hire a full-time staff member to join our team.

Trail Dust Town was originally built in 1961 and has evolved over the last 6 decades into a destination for families from all around Tucson and the world. We take care of most of the maintenance, repairs, and improvements inhouse. That means every day is something a little different and there are always opportunities to learn something new.

The most important set of skills we are looking for is mechanical. Our amusement rides are pretty unique to the city, so we prefer to have our team perform repairs, improvements, and maintenance. The rides are pretty unique to our property, so specific experience is not needed. Just an aptitude towards fixing mechanical things or previous experience in auto, forklift, or small engine repair is helpful.

Job Details:

• This position is designed to be full time and shifts tend to follow the seasons.
• Shifts start and finish earlier in the summer and later in the winter.
• Typical work days could include servicing the miniature train, then repairing a minor electrical issue before working on a carpentry project.
