Five Star Parks & Attractions in Oklahoma City is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep go-karts, arcade games, and facility systems running smoothly. This full-time, on-site role offers hands-on work and training on specialized equipment.

You'll diagnose problems, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, handle light carpentry, electrical and plumbing tasks, and uphold a strong safety culture while working with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or associate degree a plus.
• 1–3 years of maintenance, facilities, or mechanical experience preferred; training provided.
• Comfortable working with hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Safety-first mindset and strong organizational habits.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rides, games, and facility systems.
• Diagnose issues, repair or replace components, and test equipment.
• Carry out general facility upkeep: light carpentry, painting, drywall, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; small engine repair.
• Complete work orders, inspection forms, and maintenance checklists accurately.
• Identify unsafe conditions and support a strong safety culture.
• Operate forklifts, lifts, and welding equipment as needed (certification support available).

Maintenance Technician – Family Entertainment Center

Full-Time | On-site | $18–$22/hour, based on experience

Love hands-on work and hate being bored? As our Maintenance Technician, you'll keep the rides, games, and building running smoothly — one day it's a go-kart engine, the next it's a light fixture or a walk-through inspection. We'll train you on the specialized equipment; you bring the mechanical know-how and the problem-solving mindset.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on go-karts, bumper boats, batting cages, mini golf, arcade games, and facility systems
• Diagnose issues, repair or replace components, and test equipment to minimize downtime
• Handle general facility upkeep: light carpentry, painting, drywall, plumbing, and electrical repairs
• Work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, plus small engine repair
• Complete work orders, inspection forms, and maintenance checklists accurately
• Identify and report unsafe conditions immediately, and help maintain a strong safety culture
• Operate forklifts, lifts, and welding equipment as needed (certification support available)
