Job summary

Liberty University, Inc. in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a part-time Facilities Assistant to support the Assistant Director of Facilities in maintaining residence hall and common area furniture, managing inventory, and coordinating moves.

This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, assisting with inspections, work orders, and training student workers; hours are Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with some weekend work; starting pay is $12.77 per hour, with rates varying by department.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a truck, van, and or panel truck.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory checks.
• Assist with resident hall inspections.
• Assist with moving furniture and facility logistics.
• Respond to furniture work orders.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Assist in the training of new Student Workers for facilities.
• Assist in office projects as they arise.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Available to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm. Some weekends as needed.
