Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Must work well with the public and co-workers with a positive attitude.

• Able to lift up to 50+ pounds and perform Custodial duties.
• Experience with residential/commercial cleaning is a plus.
• Familiarity with safe operation of cleaning equipment; willing to be trained.

Responsibilities

• Reports to Custodial Supervisor and performs duties as assigned.
• Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, offices, halls, classrooms, labs, and common areas.
• Collects trash and recyclables from facilities for removal.
• Uses cleaning equipment safely and maintains PPE.
• Notifies supervisor of unsafe conditions or maintenance needs.
• Works as part of a team to support LU’s mission.
