Christ Memorial Church is seeking a dependable Facilities Assistant for afternoon and evening church events, including concerts and gatherings. This part-time role focuses on keeping facilities clean, prepared, and welcoming, with coverage for evening activities as needed.

The position works with current facilities staff, monitors the building during events, and provides an extra staff presence for safety and assistance, without direct intervention in security situations.

• Personable and able to interact positively with guests, volunteers, and congregants
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to operate motorized cleaning equipment, including vacuums and floor cleaners
• Dependable and self-motivated
• Must be able to pass a background check

• Assist with venue setup, outside events, sound systems, and DVD player setup as needed
• Interact positively with congregants and guests while assisting with meetings and events

• Perform light maintenance and operate cleaning equipment as needed
• Clean and restock restrooms; empty trash receptacles; and wipe down hard surfaces

We are seeking a dependable, personable Facilities Assistant to support afternoon and evening church groups, events, concerts, and special gatherings. This part-time position helps keep our facilities clean, prepared, and welcoming while providing reliable coverage for evening activities.

The Facilities Assistant will work alongside current facility staff, monitor the building during scheduled activities, and provide an additional staff presence if emergency assistance is needed. This role is not expected to physically intervene in security situations.

Work Schedule

• Monday – Thursday: 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm
• Approximately 15 hours per week
• Additional weekend evenings as needed
