Facilities and Vendor Supervisor

CareStar, Inc. is currently seeking a Facilities and Vendor Supervisor in the Information Technology Department to plan and execute defined projects, as well as manage office and facilities projects.


THE POSITION

CareStar is looking for motivated individuals who:

  1. Plan and execute projects related to the procurement, allocation, and maintenance of software and equipment.
  2. Plan budgets for and negotiate contracts, equipment, furniture, facilities, and existing and new supplies.
  3. Monitor the facility and grounds to ensure safety, security, and maintenance.
  4. Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment and electrical and mechanical systems.
  5. Ensure that facilities meet environmental, health, and security standards and comply with governmental regulations.
  6. Engage vendors, after at least two (2) quotes, to upgrade, repair, or maintain facilities.
  7. Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, and electronically.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or Business Administration preferred.
  2. One (1) year of related experience required.
  3. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  4. Effective communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills with respect for others in a diverse work environment.
  5. Availability to meet the needs of staff during CareStar’s standard business hours.
  6. Computer skills sufficient to enter information electronically and use CareStar’s website and email, along with familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.
  7. Understanding and compliance with CareStar Policies and Procedures.
  8. Adherence to the Acceptable Use Policy while using any information systems owned or controlled by CareStar, Inc.
