Job summary

The Chemical Abuse Services Agency Inc in Bridgeport, CT is seeking a Facilities and Operations Manager to lead the management, maintenance, safety, and readiness of all CASA facilities, including administrative offices and treatment sites. Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge and related trades experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, landscaping, painting, drywall, concrete, tiling, lock repair, and phone/camera systems.
• Minimum of 3 years facilities management and supervising others.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with staff.
• Self-motivated with ability to execute projects systematically.
• Bilingual English–Spanish, preferred.
• Commitment to multicultural competency in a behavioral health setting.

About this position

The Facilities and Operations Manager is responsible for the overall management, maintenance, safety, operational readiness, and infrastructure coordination of all CASA facilities. This position ensures that every site which includes the administrative office, opioid treatment programs, residential and supportive housing is safe, functional, compliant, and equipped to support high-quality client care and staff operations.

Requirements

• Knowledge of HVAC (Heating, ventilation and air conditioning)


• Must have a valid Driver's License.


• Experience in areas such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, landscaping, painting, drywall repair, concrete repair, tiling, lock repair, phone and camera systems.


• Minimum of 3 years' experience in facilities management and supervising others


• Ability to safely lift 50lbs.


• Good organizational and communication skills


• Must have good interpersonal skills.


• Must work effectively with and collaborate with the agency staff.


• Self-motivated.


• Ability to execute projects systematically.


• Bilingual (English - Spanish), preferred

Salary Information
