TAE Technologies, Inc. in Irvine, CA seeks a maintenance professional to support facilities across our site. The role involves preventive maintenance, warehousing duties, and vendor coordination to dispose or recycle assets.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of related experience, a Class C license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will maintain logs and inventory, ensure safety, and work with a diverse engineering team on mission-critical projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related work experience and technical training.

• High school graduate or GED; technical school maintenance training preferred.
• Ability to understand and interpret design documents, manufacturer’s specifications, and written procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure teamwork and positive relations.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and ensure accuracy.
• Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds and extensive walking/climbing.
• Willingness to work overtime on special projects.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for tasks related to TAE Facilities.
• Warehousing: clear out and consolidate items in the warehouse.
• Work with vendors to dispose or recycle TAE assets.
• Assist management in maintaining equipment, tools, supplies, inventories, and logs.
• Follow a preventative maintenance plan and maintain related records/logs.
• Communicate building status and changes to stakeholders.
• Adhere to safety standards and procedures.
• Operate safely with all tools and materials.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Perform building maintenance as required.

About The Role

• Responsible for completion of work orders for tasks related to TAE Facilities.
• Warehousing: clearing out and consolidating items in the warehouse.
• Working with vendors to find the best solution for disposing or recycling of TAE assets.
• Assist management in establishing and maintaining all equipment, tools, supplies in stock, inventories, and logs.
• Follow a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan and maintain all related records and logs.
• Communicate effectively to appropriate individuals regarding building status and changes.
• Adhere to all safety standards, policies & procedures, codes of conduct and best practices.
• Act in a professional and courteous manner always with co‑workers, vendors, etc.
• Utilize materials, supplies, tools and other building property in a safe, productive manner.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Ability to do building maintenance.

About You

• Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure teamwork and positive client/tenant/co‑worker relations.

• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
• Capable of doing extensive walking, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting/carrying a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime on special projects as required.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new job‑related software such as inventory control and asset management programs.
• Working knowledge of tools and their proper use.

At TAE Technologies, we consider a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and job‑related knowledge, training, licenses and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements depending on the position offered. The compensation range for these roles is $35.00–$40.00 an hour.
