Paradise Valley Estates seeks a Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance across our senior living campus in Fairfield, CA. You will oversee building systems, safety compliance, and a team of staff to ensure reliable operations and a high quality resident experience.

We value a strong work ethic, hands-on skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety, plus the ability to communicate clearly with residents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Seven years in maintenance services or related area.
• Three years supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of building systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, life safety.
• Familiar with local codes, OSHA standards, and fire safety.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Clear oral and written communication; independent judgment.

REQUIREMENTS AND DESIRED EXPERINCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors Degree is preferred. Training and combination of relevant Facilities Maintenance and Supervisory experience is required.
• Seven years experience in maintenance services field or related areas
• Three years of supervisory experience
• Valid Drivers’ License. Licensure or certificate in a trade is preferred.
• Must have comprehensive knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and life safety equipment.
• Must have thorough knowledge of preventative maintenance practices, repair techniques, and safety regulations relevant to residential and commercial facilities, especially within our senior environment.
• Familiarity with local building codes, Osha standards, and fire safety requirements is essential.
• Must be able to grasp, lift, reach, and perform medium physical work, exerting up to 30 pounds of force on a frequent basis and 60 pounds on an occasional basis.
• Must communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Must carry out detailed written or verbal instructions
• Must be capable of making mature judgments, function independently
• Must have flexibility, personal integrity, and be able to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies
