Job summary

OYC Miami is seeking a Facilities and Logistics Assistant to support daily operations across our youth programs. You will help maintain the facility, coordinate donations, and assist with warehouse activities while working closely with volunteers and staff.

This role requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs (and more with equipment), a valid driver's license, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift 10-50 lbs regularly; up to 100+ lbs with equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; background check and drug screening.
• Flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine maintenance and repair of the facility, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and operational.
• Manage pickup, deliveries, and distributions of donations.
• Oversee organization of inventory areas inside and outside the building.
• Assist with warehouse operations, including organization, disposals, and providing oversight to volunteers.
• Support facility-related projects such as renovations, office moves, and workspace reconfigurations.
• Assist with compliance of vehicles and other building-related requirements.
• Provide efficient logistical support across all departments.

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs.; occasionally more than 100 lbs. (with proper equipment).
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong ability to adapt to changing needs. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass drug screening and Level 2 background check.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
