Centerstone is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and upkeep of the organization's facilities and grounds. You will work with teams and contractors, travel off-site frequently, and report to the Facilities Manager.
The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years of combined HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or vehicle maintenance experience. A valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsible for performing general maintenance and upkeep of the organization’s facilities and grounds. This involves working with other teams and/or contractors when necessary. This is primarily conducted through work orders submitted and includes frequent off‑site travel. Work is conducted under the leadership of the Facilities Manager who reports directly to the Housing and Facilities Director.
Completes job requirements with independent action and resourcefulness and seeks out additional duties during periods of downtime. Organizes time, effort, and use of resources to achieve desired outcomes. Takes initiative to prevent and resolve problems and offers recommendations for improving services and transforming Centerstone into an organization that embraces excellent customer experience. Must be able to work under extreme weather conditions during winter and summer months. Frequent driving of work van and agency vehicles for routine maintenance work. Position may require contact with bodily fluids, this requires the use of protective clothing. Ensures facilities are clean, maintained, and safe condition. This may include cleaning up a variety of debris, up to and including trash, needles, etc. Regularly inspecting and maintaining equipment and building systems to prevent breakdowns. This may include diagnosing the cause of problems and determining the best course of action for repairs.
Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods. Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn on‑line maintenance systems. Experience with basic upkeep of properties that include painting, dry‑walling, changing light‑switches, outlets, etc. Preferred to have basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other essential systems.
Education Level: High School Diploma or equivalent
Years of Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of combined experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and vehicle or maintenance is preferred.
Certification/Licensure: Valid Driver’s License

Pay Range: $16.50--$23.10
