Job summary

Canopy Children's Solutions in Mississippi is seeking a Facilities Administrate Coordinator to oversee daily maintenance and housekeeping operations, coordinate facilities services, and support training needs. The role includes managing work orders, audits, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across sites.

You will lead staff planning, track supplies, and partner with the Statewide Director of Facilities to improve service levels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with four years or more related experience.
  • Experience in a behavioral health care setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of data collection and analysis as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required.
  • Ability to travel is required.
  • Must be a team player with excellent supervisory, planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily work activities of facilities services for client satisfaction.
  • Employee training.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance programs.
  • Requisition of tools and equipment.
  • Inspect facilities and vehicles for safety and operational standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Dispatch facilities technicians to assist in emergent situations.
  • Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase safety, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Complete monthly environment of care walk-through and adjust as needed.
  • Participate in monthly supervision with Statewide Director of Facilities.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement activities related to Environment of Care.
  • Responsible for supply orders and inventory stock to ensure supplies and equipment are available in adequate amounts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Facilities Administrate Coordinator - - Position Overview
  • The position will assist with the daily operations of maintenance and housekeeping staff.
  • Coordinates and monitors facilities, services, processes and functions.
  • Assists in prioritizing service demands when appropriate.
  • Conducts initial and on-going training based on the needs of the department.
  • Prepares and maintains accurate logs, reports and records while performing other clerical duties.
  • This person will support and troubleshoot issues/concerns identified in work order ticketing system, while performing audits and evaluating service levels of facilities services, reporting findings directly to Statewide Director of Facilities.
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform duties as directed by Statewide Director of Facilities to include, but not limited to:
    • Coordinate daily work activities of facilities services to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
    • Employee training.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance programs.
    • Requisition of tools and equipment.
  • Make periodic inspections of facilities and vehicles to identify any needed repairs or corrections to meet safety and operational standards and to ensure compliance with regulating body standards (i.e. the Joint Commission, DOE, DOH, DHS, DMH, COA, and Division of Medicaid).
  • Dispatch facilities technicians to assist in emergent situations.
  • Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase safety, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Complete monthly environment of care walk-through and adjust as needed.
  • Participate in monthly individual supervision with Statewide Director of Facilities.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement activities related to Environment of Care.
