Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to lead activation, transition, deactivation, and move-related activities across capital and expense projects. You will apply project management principles to coordinate scope, schedule, budget, quality, and stakeholder expectations within a complex healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree Construction Management, Construction Science, Architectural Engineering or related field.
• Required: 3 years Project management/construction management experience.
• May substitute Bachelor’s degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.
• Preferred: 5 years Project management/construction management experience in healthcare/academic facility environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment planning and activation with medical equipment planning teams.
• Lead activation, transition, deactivation and move strategies with project teams.
• Develop and manage activation/move schedules and vendor coordination.
• Ensure safety clearances and regulatory requirements are met prior to occupancy.
• Maintain project schedules and readiness documentation; track project costs and budgets.
