Job summary

Methodist Hospital is seeking a Facilities Access Assistant to provide information and safe access within PNHS facilities. The role includes escorting individuals with mobility needs to destinations and assisting with wheelchairs.

Training in wheelchair use and lifting/moving support is provided, along with incident reporting for risk management. The position is full-time, with a 40-hour work week on daytime shifts, Monday through Friday, at PNHS facilities in Minnesota.

Qualifications

Position Summary

The Facilities Access Assistant provides facility information and safe access assistance to members of the community utilizing PNHS facilities. Provide or assist with escorting persons of limited mobility to requested destinations. Wheelchair assistance and walking escorts are included. Training in wheelchair use and lifting/moving assistance is provided. Submit written reports on incidents observed or reported for evaluation by Risk Management or the Department of Safety & Security.

Work Schedule

FTE 1.0, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, daytime hours.
