Role Description

Journal of Hope is seeking a JOH Facilitator who can lead our journaling sessions for young people. This is a contract role located on-site in Stamford, CT. The JOH Facilitator's responsibilities is to lead the JOH Core Pillar Program sessions and guide students through various writing activities while encouraging self-expression. Our ideal candidate is passionate about working with young people, has excellent communication skills, and is comfortable leading group activities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young adults, preferably in a group setting
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with young people
• Strong mentorship and leadership skills
• Understanding of trauma-informed care and/or social-emotional learning is a plus
• Willingness to complete a background check
• Respect for cultural, ethnic, and racial diversity
