Job summary

Action for Children in Central Ohio seeks a Part-time Triple P Facilitator to deliver evidence-based parenting programs in Delaware, Marion, Madison and Union counties. The role supports families and partners with flexible scheduling, including mornings and evenings.

You will master the Triple P curriculum, facilitate groups and one-to-one sessions, handle recruitment, data reporting to Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH), and collaborate with local agencies to strengthen early childhood

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
  • Experience facilitating program curriculum to adults in group settings.
  • Proficiency with technology including databases and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Triple P curriculum in group, one-to-one, in-person, and virtual formats.
  • Establish and facilitate Triple P cohorts in a supportive group setting.
  • Coordinate ongoing recruitment and outreach to program participants.
  • Oversee administrative aspects including staffing, training, service delivery, and reporting.
  • Ensure timely data collection and reporting on program participants and outcomes.
  • Submit required program documentation to Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH).
  • Develop relationships with community organizations and local parenting partners.

This part-time role averages 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule, including morning and evening hours primarily Tuesday through Thursday, designed to meet the needs of participating families and community partners.Attain mastery of the Triple P curriculum and deliver evidence-based parenting services in group, one-to-one, in-person, and virtual formatsEstablish and facilitate Triple P parent education cohorts in a supportive group settingCoordinate ongoing recruitment and outreach to program participantsOversee administrative aspects of the program including staffing, training, service delivery, and reportingEnsure timely and accurate data collection and reporting on program participants and outcomesSubmit required program documentation to Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH), the funding agency for the projectDevelop relationships with community organizations, parenting and early childhood system agencies, and local parenting partnersWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Child Development/Early Childhood Education, or a related fieldExperience facilitating program curriculum to adults in a group settingProficiency with technology, including database and spreadsheet applications and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work with families of various backgrounds and cultures with cultural responsivenessWorking knowledge of local and state community resourcesStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage both coordination and facilitation responsibilitiesDemonstrated experience proactively identifying and eliminating obstacles to program successExcellent written, verbal, and formal presentation communication skillsUnderstanding of how intersecting systems of racial, gender, and class discrimination shape conditions for early childhood educators and the children and families they serveDesired but not required: Candidates who reside in Delaware or Marion County are preferred, as these are the primary service areas for this roleYou’ll Thrive Here IfYou excel at building rapport quickly with families from diverse backgrounds and feel energized by community-based work.
