Access 2 Interpreters, LLC in Downtown Columbus is seeking bilingual, face-to-face interpreters for medical, social service and other appointments. A flexible, contractor-based role lets you set your own schedule while earning competitive pay based on the assignment.

You must be located in Central Ohio, have a high school diploma, and be eligible to work in the United States. Background check and 40-hour training proof are required, with an option for a certified bilingual proficiency evaluation.

Qualifications

• Be located in the Central Ohio area.
• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Be eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass a Federal Criminal Background Check based on fingerprints and a 10-panel drug screening (at no cost to you).
• Provide proof of program completion from an accredited interpreter training of at least 40 hours.
• Provide Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or pay for and complete a 3rd Party Bilingual Fluency Evaluation through an accredited testing and evaluation organization.

Responsabilités

• Provide face-to-face interpretation at medical, social service, and other appointments.
• Choose your own hours as a contractor.
• Accept as many or as few assignments as you wish.
• Help those who speak different languages access services through interpretation.

Requirements

All applicants must:

• Be located in the Central Ohio area.
