Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent technical degree/certification in facade installation/repair.
• 2+ years of experience in facade installation/repair for commercial buildings in urban settings.
• Knowledge of facade materials such as glass, metal, stone and concrete.
• Familiarity with facade design principles and techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to facades.
• Proficient in using hand/power tools and equipment for facade work.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and English proficiency.

As a Facade Technician you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the exterior surfaces of buildings including windows, walls and cladding. Your main goal will be to ensure that the facade of each building is safe, functional and aesthetically pleasing.

• Perform repairs on damaged facades using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Replace broken or malfunctioning components such as glass panels or cladding.
• Install new facades on buildings under construction or undergoing renovations.
• Clean and maintain existing facades to keep them looking their best.
• Work with architects and engineers to determine the best solutions for facade design and repairs.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working at heights.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent technical degree or certification in facade installation/repair preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience working in facade installation/repair preferably with commercial buildings in an urban setting.
• Strong knowledge of different facade materials such as glass, metal, stone and concrete.
• Familiarity with various facade design principles and techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to facades.
• Proficient in using hand/power tools and equipment for facade work.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.

Salary

$1800 per month.
