Job summary

Garlock Family of Companies is seeking a Fabricator/White Room Operator to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role emphasizes quality, learning equipment, and steady work with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

The successful candidate will set up and run presses and related machinery, prepare and package gasket materials, and support white room operations including labeling. You’ll monitor conditions, ensure safety, and help keep the line supplied for efficient production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand, bend, push, pull, and lift up to 30 pounds; heavier items require team lift or mechanical assistance.
• Comfort working in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, adhesives, and production equipment.
• Forklift license or ability to obtain one.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and willingness to learn multiple operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manufacturing equipment including presses, ovens, and related production machinery.
• Prepare, cut, mold, trim, package, and move gasket materials and finished products.
• Support white room operations, including labeling and packaging oxygen-service gaskets.
• Monitor equipment, product quality, pressure, temperature, and production conditions to keep work moving safely and accurately.
• Handle molds, assist with mold cleaning, and help keep production lines supplied and ready.
