Responsibilities include reading blueprints, setting up and welding parts per specifications, and operating basic fabrication tools. MIG/Flux Core/Stick welding experience, overhead crane familiarity, and math skills are required.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and lay out work per specs
• Position, align, and weld parts to form units
• Weld using MIG, Flux Core or Stick processes
• Experience operating an Overhead Crane
• Experience with fabrication equipment such as saws, pipe notchers, grinders
• Understanding of basic math, geometry and fractions
• Use basic hand tools, torches and jigs

Shift:

Pay: $22-30/hr.

Description:

• We are seeking skilled Miscellaneous Metals Fabricator/Welder for a fabrication shop that specializes in construction projects such as installing stairs, rails, and other miscellaneous metal projects.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read Blueprints and conduct layouts in accordance to the specifications
• Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form units
• Ability to Weld in the following processes: MIG, Flux Core and/or Stick
• Experience operating an Overhead Crane
• Experience with fabrication equipment such as saws, pipe notchers, and grinders
• Understanding Basic math, geometry, and fractions
• Use basic hand tools, torches, and jigs
