Job summary

Woods Equipment Company, part of the Oregon Tool family, is seeking welders to assemble and weld components in a production setting. You will set up, position, and weld parts, adhering to processes and safety standards.

The role requires basic welding experience, ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship. Onsite work in an environment focused on continuous improvement and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months to one year welding-related experience through training or hands-on work.
• Ability to pass Welder I qualification test.
• Commitment to safety policies and PPE standards.
• Maintain organized, production-ready workstations.
• Strong ability to read safety documentation and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, welds components together in a production environment.
• Set up and position components for welding operations to produce quality welds.
• Perform welds according to established processes and quality standards.
• Maintain weld fixtures and ensure assemblies meet specifications.
• Work with MIG welding processes on carbon steel and other alloys.
• Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical specifications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement for quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Meet production schedules while maintaining craftsmanship.
• Support additional manufacturing tasks as needed.
