Job summary

Mity-Lite, Inc., based in Orem, Utah, is seeking a Fabricator to join our Operations team. You will perform repairs on jigs and fixtures, support daily Kaizen improvements, work with Lean processes, and provide cross‑functional shop floor support.

Ideal candidates read prints, weld steel and aluminum (preferred), use hand tools, and maintain accurate records while following safety protocols in a busy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read prints and repair jigs to their naturel state.
• Welding steel and aluminum is preferred.
• Proven manufacturing experience and use of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on jigs and fixtures.
• Read prints to repair jigs to their naturel state.
• Inspect finished work to ensure it meets specifications.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean work area.
• Assist in training team members as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
