Job summary

Underground Solutions is seeking a Fabricator to perform welding and fabrication on our WEKO-SEAL product line. You will weld, fabricate, rig, and lift heavy objects, use cutting equipment, torch and plasma saw, and assemble projects while maintaining a safe, organized shop.

The role supports field crews, prepares products for shipment, troubleshoots material issues, and maintains fabrication equipment. Candidates should have a high school diploma, MIG welding experience (stainless MIG

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Mig welding experience, stainless mig welding and some tig welding preferred.
• Familiar with basic shop tools, drills, grinders, impacts, and measuring instruments.
• Experience operating a forklift with certification or ability to be certified.
• Oxy/Acetylene torch experience preferred.
• Familiar with fabrications machinery such as iron worker, band saw, roller, and basic power/air tools.
• Detail oriented, able to work in a team or independently.
• Read tape measure and understand measurements to 1/32 inch.
• Must be able to learn troubleshooting and perform shop math.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication on WEKO Seal product line.
• Rig, lift heavy objects safely using forklift/scissor lifts.
• Use cutting equipment, torch and plasma saw; assemble projects; maintain shop equipment.
• Support field crews in troubleshooting material issues.
• Prepare products for shipment and move parts on/off machinery.
• Perform fabrication equipment evaluation, testing and adjustments.

Underground Solutions (UGS) is currently seeking a Fabricator to perform welding and fabrication on our WEKO-SEAL product line that has been used for 40 years and over 300,000 installations in trenchless internal joint seals.
