We are currently seeking a Fabricator to join our team in Walla Walla, WA. Key Technology is a global industrial manufacturing company that specializes in food processing technology.
Fabricator will be trained or help on one or more of the following machines or work centers such as cutoff saws, CNC and standard shears and brakes, rollers, presses, forming machines, CNC and standard Whitney punching machines, CNC plasma & punch machines, belt, bench and hand‑held grinders that cut, shape, and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structures. The responsibilities include:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and occasionally reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts, is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration, and the noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
