Job summary

FLOFORM Countertops Boise is seeking a full-time FABRICATOR/POLISHER for the night shift. You will grind, sand and polish stone to match templates, read measurements, operate hand and power tools (table saw, chop saw), and prepare surfaces for finishing.

Qualifications

• Experience in polishing natural stone or engineered quartz is a plus.
• Experience with grinders and polishers is desirable.
• Ability to read units of measurement and use hand/power tools.
• Hardworking, motivated, organized and task oriented.
• Basic computer skills and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• File grooved, contoured, and irregular surfaces to match templates or blueprints.
• Grind, sand, clean or polish surfaces to prepare for finishing.
• Load/Unload and arrange work pieces on equipment.
• Operate hand and power tools and ensure quality.
• Other duties as assigned; Monday-Thursday schedule.

Required immediately, our BOISE Branch is seeking Full time FABRICATOR/POLISHER (Night Shift)

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience in a similar role with polishing on natural stone and engineered quartz a plus or experience auto detailing considered transferrable skills
• Experience using grinders and polishers an asset
• Must be hardworking, motivated, well organized and task oriented
• Basic computer skills, MS office
• Have the ability to read units of measurements
• Demonstrate knowledge of hand woodworking tools and operate power tools such as table saw, chop saw, etc.
• Strong communication (both written and verbal)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• File grooved, contoured, and irregular surfaces of stone to confirm to templates, other parts and layouts, or blueprint specifications
• Grind, sand, clean or polish objects or parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand tools and power tools.
• Unload/Load and adjust work pieces onto equipment or work tables, using hand tools and mechanical lifters.
• Other duties as assigned
• Monday - Thursday (Full Time)
